Nudibranchs are fascinating and diverse ocean creatures. As with my coral sculptures, I haven’t copied them directly, just been influenced by the shapes, textures and colours.
Hand textured porcelain wall sculpture with a variety of coral textures, mostly left unglazed to show the wonderful alabaster-like qualities of the porcelain with details picked out with layers of underglaze. The piece has been fired to 1250 degrees C. As the design is all the way around the piece it makes a great piece for a coffee table or the wall. The back is concave with lugs for hanging, portrait orientation.
*Please check all photos for scale!* Piece measures 17.2cm x 12.5cm x 5.7cm
Each piece is hand-textured, so all patterns will be unique.
